September 13, 2013 (Chinavestor) Chinese stocks tapered off on Friday before US jobs numbers. The Hang Seng Index (INDEXHANGSENG:.HSI) fell 38.4 points or 0.2% while the Shanghai Composite Index (SHA:000001) declined 0.9%.
The decline was universal on the mainland where stocks that fell outnumbered those that advanced ten to one. A slightly better decline ration was recorded in Hong Kong on Friday.
