December 19, 2012 (Chinavestor) Stocks in Hong Kong trailed US markets higher on Wednesday. The Hang Seng Index (INDEXHANGSENG:.HSI) advanced 128.6 points or 0.6% in a broad rally. Stocks that advanced outnumbered those that fell five to one among components of the index. But stocks lacked direction in Shanghai where the Shanghai Composite index (SHA:000001) was virtually unchanged, slipping 0.2 points. Airliners continued to show strength in Hong Kong where Air China (HKG:0753) rose 3.4% on Wednesday. China Eastern Airlines (HKG:0670) leveled off after a 30% rise just in one month.
