US jobs and earnings reports move market sentiment in the US, weighing on Asian markets. All said the Hang Seng Index (INDEXHANGSENG:.HSI) fell 59.6 points or 0.3%, trading in a narrow range for most of the day. The Shanghai Composite Index SHA:000001) was in negative territory for most of the day but eked out a small 0.07% gain by the close.
