March 29, 2012 (Chinavestor)The Hang Seng Index (INDEXHANGSENG:.HSI) fell 276.0 points or 1.3% on Thursday on top of a 161.5 points decline a day earlier, erasing all previous gains from earlier the week. The index is feeling a cool-off as the Dow is on a retreat. Stocks fell in Shanghai as well. The Shanghai Composite Index (SHA:000001) slid 32.7 points or 1.5% to three months lows as investors digest the depth of bad corporate news. Soc Gen said in a report that corporate earnings for the 50 largest Chinese corporations are set to flatten out in 2012.
