March 8, 2012 (Chinavestor) Stocks soared in Asia on Thursday after an upbeat job market in the U.S. sent the Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDEXDJX:.DJI) 78.2 points higher a day before. The Hang Seng Index (INDEXHANGSENG:.HSI) soared 273.0 points or 1.3% in a broad rally. Stocks that advanced outnumbered those that fell ten to one among the 42 components of the index. A similar rally took place in Shanghai where the Shanghai Composite Index (SHA:000001) rose 25.5 points or 1.1%. Each and every stocks among the 50 largest components of the index advanced. The rally is attributed to a long waited government stimulus now that inflation is at-check and industrial production is falling.
