Oct. 29, 2009 (Chinavestor) Aluminum Corp. of China (NYSE:ACH) (HKG:2600) (SHA:601600) announced the successful acquisition of three smaller aluminum companies today. In an announcement submitted to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Aluminum Corp. of China (NYSE:ACH), known as Chalco, reported the following equity stakes:
- 100% stake in Zhongzhou Aluminum, Zhongzhou Aluminum Factory
- 74% stake in Hongrui, Zhongzhou Aluminum Factory
- 26% stake in Zhongzhou Aluminum Factory
- 100% stake in Xincheng, Zhongzhou Aluminum Factory
Chalco paid approximately RMB14.43 million ($2.11 million) for the Zhongzhou Aluminum Interest, approximately RMB12.2 million ($1.786 million) for the Hongrui Interest and RMB3.37 million ($.493 million) for the Xincheng Interest.
