March 15, 2010 (Chinavestor) China Life Insurance (NYSE:LFC) reported February insurance premiums income as follows: for the month of February the company sold insurance policies worth RMB 77.4 billion ($11.332 billion), an increase of 14.1% from same period last year.
January 2010 insurance policy income was the highest on record for the last 14 months. But a strong February reading combined with a record January suggests China Life Insurance (NYSE:LFC) is going to report a strong first quarter.
Shares of China Life Insurance have surged last week following news that the Company will report a 200% increase in net profit for 2009 compared to 2008. China Life Forecast Profit Growth of 200% in 2009.
