December 12, 2011 (Chinavestor) Investors in Hong Kong continued on Monday where Wall Street left off on Friday. But sentiment soured as outlook on European summit dimmed. The Hang Seng Index (INDEXHANGSENG:.HSI) gave up all early gains ending the day 10.6 points or 0.1% lower. Mainland China stock listed in Hong Kong performed alike, the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (INDEXHANGSENG:.HSCEI) shed 0.07% for the day. As far as Shanghai, the other major Asian market for China stocks is concerned, investor mood was somber. The Shanghai Composite Index (SHA:000001) fell 23.7 points or 1.0% to a new 52 week low as exports slowed, car demand fell and manufacturing growth contracted in November.
