Based on the success of previous post (China ADR momentum stocks using 10-DMA and 30-DMA) when we highlighted stocks with outstanding momentum, we take a look at the week from a technical point of view. Notable Chinese ADRs are: Comtech Group's (COGO) 15.3% recovery after going bust the previous week; China Netcom (CN) recovered 6.8% last week and has accumulated momentum; Sinopec (SNP) shows sign of strength; China Unicom (CHU) followed CN very closely and has momentum; The9 Ltd. (NCTY) is the best momentum stock we identified for the week; Yaznhou Coal (YZC) lost -4.0% during the week but looks promising. The following table sorts China ADRs based on last week performance (% change) and if last closing price was above or below 50 day-moving-average (DMA) or 200-DMA. The last column gives a stock an "X" if 10-DMA is above 30-DMA - another momentum indicator.
